    FAQ

    How is the iRest different from other iPad stands?

    Most of the iPad stands are made for desk use only. iRest is the 1st stand designed for the lap and couch usage. This frees up the holding hand and makes actions like typing with both hands or holding a coffee cup possible.

    Is the iRest compatible with older iPads?

    Yes. The iRest is compatible with new iPads as well as iPad 1st-4th generation (together with the iPad smart cover).

    Is the iRest compatible with tablet PCs?

    All tablet PCs up to 0.47 inches (1.2 cm) in thickness are compatible with iRest.

    Does the iRest fold down completely?

    Yes. All 3 cushions are detachable. The back cushions are screwed-on pieces while the front cushion is a slip-on.

    What is the cutout hole in the front for?

    This is to allow air flow to the speaker on the right bottom of the iPad. The cutout will minimize muffling of speaker sound.

    Can the iRest be used with a Kindle or Nook?

    Yes. It works for both Kindle and Nook. The very bottom of keyboard keys in the Kindle are slightly in the recess of the iRest. However, it did not affect Kindle usage at all in our tests.

    How can I get replacement cushions?

    Can the iRest be used with the iPad charging connector?

    Yes. There is a cutout at the back to accommodate the charging connector.

    Return Policy

    We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from SittingKillz.com. If you don’t love your product, return it in like-new condition in the original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Easy-peasy.

    A few things to note:

    You have 30 days to return your product for a full refund minus shipping. Some product lines may also have a restocking fee or other restrictions, see below.

    Please contact us at support@sittingkillz.com for a return authorization number PRIOR to returning any item.  We will not accept any returns without prior authorization.

    You will be responsible for return shipping costs and product must be returned in "like new" condition.

    We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit. Please ship your return with a reputable service that offers insurance and tracking (UPS, Fedex, etc).   

    Refunds will only be refunded to the credit card used for the original purchase.     

    Multi Unit Orders and Custom items are not returnable.

    Uplift Desk Products:

    Items other than bases and desks will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

    Custom laminate and solid wood desktops are not returnable.

    HealthPostures Products:

    No additional fees or restrictions.

    Focal Upright Products:

    No additional fees or restrictions.

    Ergosource Products:

    Items returned after 14 days subject to a 25% restocking fee.

    Uncaged Ergonomics:

    No additional fees or restrictions.

    MooreCo and Balt Products:

    No additional fees or restrictions.

    TCT Nanotec Products

    Customer pays for shipping back to TCT warehouse & 25% restocking fee - has to be in original packaging or no credit.

    Loctek

    Loctek items come with a 30-day return policy. During this time any unopened and unused merchandise can be returned at the customer's expense for a full refund minus a 20% restocking fee.

    Loctek items come with a 90-day manufacturer's warranty. During this time we will replace and/or assist in repairing any items deemed damaged during shipping or defective from the manufacturer. This warranty does not include wear from normal use and/or damage due to incorrect use of the product.

    Shipping Policy

    Order Confirmation:

    As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

    Order Shipment:

    If your order is stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address your provide when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@SittingKillz.com

    Damages:

    Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged, please send photos within 48hours to support@sittingkillz.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

    Cancellations & Refunds:

    All orders cancelled after 48 hours are subject to a $20 administration fee, whether or not your order has shipped.  If you order has shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges. Refunds will only be issued to the original credit card that you use when placing your order.

    International Shipping:

    While we welcome the business of customers worldwide, some products are prohibitively expensive to ship abroad.  Shipping rates vary dramatically country to country. If you are overseas and are interested in one of our products please click on Contact Us and submit a request to get an accurate shipping price.  Be sure to include the product(s) you would like to purchase and your shipping address in your message.
